Variant Links

eTechFlow Variant Links addresses a common catalog issue: the "same" product often appears as several distinct products, such as the same bag in three colours, the same key blank for five car makes, or the same lock in four sizes, leaving shoppers who land on one with no easy way to find the others. Variant Links introduces a row of "View Other Options / Finishes / Sizes" buttons on the product page that link directly to a filtered listing of the corresponding variant products.

There are four ways to set a link: a point-and-click visual builder (select a target category and up to five attribute filters, no URLs), a simple relative-link field, a bulk CSV import keyed by SKU with a dry-run preview, or fully automatic generation that creates the link on the fly from the product's own category and attributes, with manual links always taking priority.

It's theme-agnostic, hooks into the shared catalog output helper so it operates on Luma and Hyvä with zero template edits, and is migration-safe: links store only the relative path and add the domain at render, ensuring they survive a store move. It can also remove old hand-coded "View Other" buttons from descriptions as they render (fully reversible), and includes CLI commands for automation.
