Overview

XML Sitemap — setup guide
Step-by-step install & admin configuration, fully illustrated.
Open guide“After XML Sitemap was configured on our Magento store, the day-to-day workflow was clear. We especially value that sitemaps are generated automatically from current store content. The settings are easy to understand, and our team can manage the workflow without needing repeated developer assistance. It now replaces a task we previously handled manually.”

“We were dealing with sitemaps becoming stale or difficult to manage as the catalogue changes. After adding XML Sitemap, sitemaps are generated automatically from current store content and scheduled updates and splitting keep large catalogues organised. The main difference for our store has been a smoother day-to-day workflow, fewer avoidable customer questions and less manual administration. It has been a strong fit for our Magento setup.”

“The core functionality does what we needed: sitemaps are generated automatically from current store content. It keeps search-engine discovery data current with less manual work. We had a small amount of configuration during the initial setup, which is why I would give it four stars rather than five. Overall, it is reliable and saves us considerable administrative time each week.”

“Our technical team liked that XML Sitemap keeps the workflow inside Magento. In particular, scheduled updates and splitting keep large catalogues organised. Installation and support were straightforward and well supported, and having source-code access made the extension easier to review for our environment.”

“Search engines receive a cleaner, up-to-date map of products, categories and content. The module feels integrated with the rest of the Magento storefront rather than appearing as a separate add-on. We have seen a clearer customer journey and fewer routine questions for our support team, and the overall experience is more consistent.”
