Overview
SEO-friendly layered navigation: human-readable filter URLs (slug ↔ option-id) for Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Theme-agnostic (Hyvä / Luma). Part of the eTechFlow SEO Suite.
Features
Every capability earns its place: built to solve a real merchant problem, not pad a feature list.
Turns Magento's ?manufacturer=2069 into clean, shoppable slugs like ?manufacturer=yale, fully two-way (slug ↔ option id), rewriting both dropdown and swatch filters automatically.
Choose a clean query string (?manufacturer=yale) or a fully path-style URL (/manufacturer/yale). Path format needs no rewrite generation, it's resolved live by the router.

Works with
A single whitelisted filter becomes an indexable, self-canonical landing page; multi-filter and price pages get NOINDEX, FOLLOW with a canonical back to the base category, killing duplicate content.
Choose exactly which attribute codes may become indexable landing pages. Every setting is scope-aware (Default / Website / Store View), so multi-store catalogues stay under control.
Emits the whitelisted single-filter landing pages (only category+value pairs with products) so Google discovers them, and adds NOINDEX, FOLLOW to ?p=2,3… for crawl-budget best practice.
Runs on Hyvä and Luma with deterministic slugs (Premier 2000+ → premier-2000, stable across stores and re-runs), plus disjunctive faceting so shoppers can pick several values and options stay clickable.

Open guide“After SEO Layered Nav was configured on our Magento store, the day-to-day workflow was clear. We especially value that selected filters can use readable, indexable URLs. “We were dealing with filtered catalogue pages producing unfriendly or poorly controlled URLs. After adding SEO Layered Nav, selected filters can use readable, indexable URLs and SEO controls help decide which filter combinations should be discoverable. The main difference for our store has been a smoother day-to-day workflow, fewer avoidable customer questions and less manual administration. It has been a strong fit for our Magento setup.”

“The core functionality does what we needed: selected filters can use readable, indexable URLs. It turns useful catalogue filters into a more manageable SEO structure. We had a small amount of configuration during the initial setup, which is why I would give it four stars rather than five. Overall, it is reliable and saves us considerable administrative time each week.”

“Our technical team liked that SEO Layered Nav keeps the workflow inside Magento. In particular, SEO controls help decide which filter combinations should be discoverable. Installation and support were straightforward and well supported, and having source-code access made the extension easier to review for our environment.”
