Questions we get from people about to book.

How quickly can you start?

Discovery calls are usually available within 3 working days. Once the fixed quote is signed off, we typically start engineering within 2 weeks; sometimes faster if a slot opens. We will not promise a start date we cannot hold.

Who owns the source code?

You do, from day one. We commit directly to your Git host. There is no licence transfer at handover because the code was always yours. We retain no copies and we sign that into the engagement contract.

Why fixed quote and not hourly?

Hourly billing rewards slow engineers and punishes thorough discovery. Fixed quotes force us to scope properly up front, which is the cheapest way to build software. If we underestimate, we absorb the overrun. We have been doing this long enough that fixed quotes are accurate to within 10% the vast majority of the time.

What if scope changes mid-engagement?

We pause, rewrite the quote, and resume with your sign-off. Most engagements have one or two small change requests; we batch them at the next milestone to keep the workflow clean. Larger scope shifts become a separate engagement.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before any technical conversation. Our standard mutual NDA is one page; we will send it on request or sign yours.

Will the module work on Hyvä and Luma?

Yes. Every custom module ships with a Hyvä-first storefront layer and a Luma fallback. If you tell us at discovery that you are exclusively on one or the other we skip the unused layer.

What does PHPStan level 8 mean for me?

It means the static analyser catches type errors before code reaches your store. Stricter than Magento Marketplace Quality requires. Reduces the kind of subtle bug that surfaces three months after launch when a related module updates.

Can you publish the module on your marketplace?

Optional. If you want us to host distribution and run support escalation, we can list the module on the eTechFlow marketplace under your brand at 70% revenue share to you. You can also keep it private and only use it on your own stores.
